By | January 19, 2023 Bridge problem in Fort Lauderdale halts service to Aventura, Miami A Brightline train passes through Deerfield Beach, Florida. David Lassen FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Brightline operations have been suspended this morning (Thursday, Jan. 19) between Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, and Miami because of issues with the New River Bridge in Fort Lauderdale, the passenger operator has announced. Limited operations continue between West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, and Fort Lauderdale. Crews from route owner Florida East Coast Railway are on site at the bridge.
