The death of a woman who was hit by two trains Sunday morning in Deerfield Beach is being investigated by Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit detectives. Witnesses said a woman walked around the barriers on the tracks at Dixie Highway north of Hillsboro Boulevard onto the tracks shortly after 9 a.m. While she walking north on the tracks, a southbound Brightline train hit her and flung her onto the adjacent tracks where she was hit again by a Florida East Coast Railway train, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.
